Team Mangalore which has been invited by Mayor of Dieppe, Sebastian Jumail, France, to take part in the international kite festival to be held from September 6 to 14 as guest participants from India, has reached France.
Speaking to Newskarnataka from France, team leader Sarvesha Rao, said they were exited to be participating in this international event and are specially hopeful of their special creations ‘Vibhishana' and 'Sangama' made exclusively for the festival, are well appreciated.

Vibhishana, Ravana's brother, has been jointly designed by Sarvesha Rao, Dinesh Holla, Satish Rao, and Pranesh, it said.
The special kite designed by the team is 30 foot in height and nine feet wide. 'Sangama' the other kite to be displayed at the event is a hexagon shaped kite with a height of nine feet and width of five feet.
An exhibition of line drawings of artist Dinesh Holla will also be held. The team also plans to showcase the rich tradition of Mangalore through telefilms every evening during the festival.
