Team Mangalore,recently participated in the 16th Dieppe International Kite Festival, France. Held during 11th to19th September,2010. The team comprising of Sarvesh Rao, Prashanth Upadhyaya( MRPL), Dinesh Holla and Subhash Pai( MRPL), took part in the international event with one seventy five other participants from over forty two countries.

One of the reasons to make this team popular is that it has caught everyone's attention by placing Indian art forms high in the sky. Art forms like Yakshagana, Kathakali, Bharatanatyam, Bhootaraadhane and Pushpaka Vimaana were imprinted on kites by the team, their signature art piece.

In addition to kite flying, the team also took a special interest to promote the South Indian cultural activities like Yakshagana performance enacted live by Mr. Prashanth Upadhyaya. Well known artist Mr. Dinesh Holla did the live sketching of various Indian cultures. The live action taking place at the stall added more interest to the foreign nationals who gathered in huge number to learn more about the Indian team and its output. At the end of the festival, Team Mangalore won laurels and remained everyone's favourite for its kites and variety in performances.
