The Limca Book of records has conferred the National Record as Largest Kite in India for our Kite Kathakkali. This Record is an important feather in our cap as we take pride in being a major kite flying association in the country.

The National Record:
Largest Kite in India: The Kite named as Kathakkali is made in the shape of a Kathakkali Dancer. The Dancers in Kathakkali, the traditional dance form of Kerala are using colourful costumes and facial designs for their performance. The face of a Kathakkali dancer is widely used in India for making artifacts. We used this theme of colourful dance form for making our kite since the colours enliven the sky while flying the kite.
The Kite is biggest in India in its class and is a magnificent piece of art. Moreover we fly this kite at every available opportunity. The kite can be dismantled after using and can be stored in a compact bag. The size and other details are given below.
